Five suspects robbed Sasol garage

Five suspects robbed the Sasol Garage near Ben Vorster High School on Tuesday morning.

According to Marius Jacobs from Northern Security, two of the managers of Sasol went to bank the Easter weekend’s money.

At the mosque a white GTI try to push them from the road. Shots were then fired on them.

They made an emergency call to Jacobs and rushed back to the garage.

Jacobs tells that ironically he visited the garage five minutes prior to the emergency call. Jacobs then also phone Northern Security, who already received a emergency call.

Erik Davids from Northern Security responded to the call. The police were also quick on the scene.

The GTI followed the managers back to the garage were they were robbed of hundreds of thousands of rands.

The suspects are still at large.

According to Jacobs, CCV footage revealed in the meantime, that a person who was sitting at one of the tables outside the garage made a phone call the moment when the two managers left for the bank.

This is currently under investigation by the police.

No one was hurt during the incident.
