Phala roads shut down-to move monstrosity

Foskor encountered unplanned issues during the planned move of a 500 ton hydraulic shovel across the tar road that comes from town to Foskor on Saturday 16 January.

‘We are intending to execute the move across the road on Saturday 23 January 2016. The road will be closed at the 4 way stop at the Mollengraaf and Selati and Potgieter intersection,’ said Mervyn Dampier, Senior Mining Superintendent at Foskor.

The road will be closed from 06:00 to 12:00.

This period may be shorter, but should not be longer than planned. They request patience during this period from all road users. All efforts will be made to cause the least amount of disruption.

The road via the Bosveld Plant will be open during the operation and will not be affected.

Any queries regarding this can be directed to Mervyn Dampier at 083 383 0886
