According to Lt Col Maosthe Ngoepe, Provincial Head of the SAPS Media Centre, seven armed suspects attacked an on duty security guard and tide him up.

The suspects gain access to the supermarket through the roof and stole an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes worth thousands of rands.

The suspects also stole two rifles, one firearm, ammunition and a safe, according to Ngoepe.

A cash reward off R50 000  is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects,’ said Ngoepe.
