BREAKING NEWS: Cell shop robbed by ‘police’ in Tzaneen

Four armed suspects impersonating police officers robbed a Cell shop in the Tzaneen Crossings Mall on Monday morning.

The three suspects, two armed with handguns and one with a knife entered the Cell C shop.

They produced firearms and demanded the safes to be opened.

The three workers were tied up with cable ties.

The suspects loaded bags and boxes full of cellphones and calmly left the shop.

Northern Security and the police are still on the scene.

‘Two suspects were wearing golf shirts with the SAPS logo printed on, according to  Marius Jacobs from Northern Security.

No injuries were sustained during the robbery.
