BREAKING NEWS: Body of abducted 7 year old found in cattle dip

The body of a 7 year old boy that was abducted in Hlanganani outside Giyani yesterday afternoon was found floating in a cattle dip.

The death of the 7 year old boy in Hlanganani who was kidnapped yesterday at around 15:00 at Olifantshoek is condemned by the Provinvial Commisioner Lt Gnl Nneke Ledwaba.

‘It is alleged that the boy was playing with his friends when a red sedan arrived and the driver called the victim to board the vehicle. The driver sped off and disappeared with the victim, according to Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

His body was found by the police in a cattle dip at Olifantshoek in the Hlanganani Policing area today.

The cause of death, motive and suspects is still unknown and investigations are ongoing.

Community members are therefore requested to give the policeĀ  space to investigate this matter in full without engaging in any illegal activities including mob-attacks or killings.
