Premier sends condolences to Nesane family

Limpopo Premier Chupu Mathabatha, has heard with sadness the passing of one of the largest tomato producers in the province, Dr Ntuseni Jameson.

He passed on last Saturday night.
Nesane, was an entrepreneur, philanthropist and farmer, the second largest tomato producer in Limpopo and South Africa.
He was honoured by the University of Venda on February 2012 with a Doctorate in Philosophy recognising his entrepreneurial and empowerment skillsinfarming whereas he had no formal education.
His multimillion farming business was based in the Nwanedi valley near Tshipise resorts in the Vhembe River basin.
Nesane was was 74 when he passed on.
His farms have always played a role on experiential learning for both university students and community.
The province mourns with the entire agricultural and farming community. We mourn with his family and all those who benefited from his skills and diligent in farming.?, says the Premier.
Nesane dies when the farming community is facing one of the worst devastating droughts in the country. He surely must have been hurt by the continuing drought.’
“On behalf of the Executive Council and the people of the Province,we mourn as a nation. May his soul rest in peace,” said the premier
