Deputy Minister hosts Craft Imbizo

The Deputy Minister of Arts and Culture, Rejoice Mabudafhasi, hosted the Crafts Imbizo with Crafters and Craft Stakeholders.

It took place at the Royal Khalanga Hall in N’wamitwa Village last Friday.
MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture in Limpopo, Onicca Moloi, joined Mabudafhasi at the occasion.
The Craft sector has long been acknowledged as one of the strategic sectors for socio-economic development and job creation in the country.
These challenges range from access to information, access to viable markets, access to reasonably priced raw materials for craft production as well as access to funding and finance.
The deputy minister conducted the crafts Imbizo to give a platform to crafters and crafters stakeholders to engage on the challenges, share ideas on crafts sector’s development and how craft sector can be better serviced forward.
