Elite funeral parlor situated in Green Valley, Acornhoek was robbed on Tuesday, April 11.
“It is alleged that six men entered the Funeral Parlor ordering everyone to lie down while they took the belongings of the staff on duty, which included cellphones and wallets”, stated Acornhoek police spokesperson Captain Mpho Nonyane.
Meanwhile a couple was robbed in broad daylight on their way to Mega City Plaza on Sunday, April 9.
“The victim Joseph Mokoena (42) who resides in Green Valley, Acornhoek, said that he was with his wife when three armed men approached them and demanded they hand over their cellphones”, she further stated.
No arrests have been made and the police urges anyone with information to contact the Acornhoek police station as these robbers need to be taken off the streets.
