The first Limpopo XCO event of the season took place last weekend at Merensky High School and Stanford managed to finish second overall.
The Berig Tour de Plaas took place on July 29 with an event that saw much larger numbers than last year’s instalment. Of the 19 riders who took part, six Stanford riders managed to claim podium finishes.
With Lara Dando coming third and Ani Guitierrez first in the Youth Girls; Megan Joynt coming second in the Sub-Junior Girls; Herman Fourie and Reuben Middleton finishing third and first respectively in the Sub-Junior Boys and Matt Wilkinson coming third in Junior Men; Stanford Lake College finished second overall for the day.
