KNP: Hut in Kruger burns down

A hut in Olifants Camp burned down last night.

According to a Facebook post on Camps & Roads of Kruger, hut nr 6 in Olifants Camp burned down last night,  Friday August 18.

‘If you had a reservation for hut nr 6 at Olifants Camp in the near future, then I suggest you check when it will be available again. It burned down last night,’ the post read.

Emergency services of the camp are applauded for their swift reaction who controlled the fire and contained it to only one hut.

A major disaster was prevented.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
