PHALABORWA: Mopani FET learners up in arms

"We decided to shut down all the registration processes", stated the Mopani FET SASCO Deputy Chairperson.

The Mopani FET Phalaborwa Campus Student Representative Council (SRC) decided to shut down all registration process due to the proposed decrease in student enrolment, denial of enrollment of students owing the institution and the lack of lecturers within the campus.

 

“We give the institution five working days to refund the learners who are entitled to NSFAS funds, which have miraculously disappeared”, stated SRC deputy chairperson, Montee Mabolabola. “We plead with the community of the BA-Phalaborwa municipality to support us in this struggle that we are in until our demands are met.”
