46-year-old warrant officer dies in state vehicle crash

It is alleged the officers were on their way to attend a protest situation at Atok in the Burgersfort Cluster when the accident happened.

The Lebowakgomo Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after one person was killed and a second seriously injured in a vehicle collision along the R37 road on Friday morning.

The accident occurred next to Manglemang village outside Lebowakgomo at around 07:00 when the vehicle, a amoured Police vehicle (Nyala), they were traveling in plunged into a ‘donga’ beside the road, reports Police Spokesperson, Motlafela Mojapelo.
