Bigger, better, dirtier

The event is to be held at Magoebaskloof Adventures on April 21.

Last year the Tzaneen Care Group held their inaugural Dirt Dash and the event was a huge success.

An impressive sum of R50 000 was raised with 50 teams enjoying the day’s festivities.

The money raised from this event was used to upgrade the care centre by paving the visitors’ parking area and paving a walkway to the rooms.

Get ready for the mud.

The care centre replaced windows with two fitted aluminium doors to give patients access to the centre’s beautiful garden.

In 2018, they aim to make the event bigger, better and dirtier.

They hope to bump the number of teams up to 63 and the event will include 15 spectator points and a challenging set of obstacles!

Teams consist of six members. This could be the perfect opportunity to enter some of your colleagues for a bit of a team-building session.

Feel free to dress-up in any way you fancy.

Tzaneen Care Group hope to raise R100 000 in order to complete the initial work carried after last year’s event, including; the last installation of an aluminium door in one of the rooms and paving the area outside of the room and connect it to the existing walkway

Additionally, they hope to construct a roof over the lapa so that family members can enjoy sitting outside, even if the weather is not favourable.

The funds raised from last years event went towards installing aluminium door and paving the outside areas so that patients have easier access to the garden area at the centre.

Furthermore, they wish to be able to purchase new linen and bedding is for all the rooms.
