The historical Long Tom Picnic and Panoramic view site was launched on Saturday May 28 in Haenertsburg.

Tito Mboweni, former Governor of the Reserve Bank and Honorable Rotarian of the Rotary Club of Haenerstburg were the guest speaker.

The opening address by none other than local historian and renowned author, Professor Louis Changuion.

The last past was played at sunset by Christopher White. It was a truly fantastic event and enjoyed by all.

The site is well signposted on the R71 turnoff at Cheerio. A wonderful new tourist attraction and facility in our area developed by Rotary Haenertsburg.
