#WomensDay2018: She completes all with her jewellery

"Find your passion and outlet of self expression and use that to inspire and empower others..."

One creative woman has made it her mission to complete people’s outfits through her jewellery.

Theo Maluleke, Owner of Natural Mystique Accessories, makes jewellery from different materials ranging from paper, clay, beads and crochet yarn to name but a few.

She currently owns her company with her two sisters, Tiyani Maluleke and Basheerah Gumede, with her being the overseer and main designer.

“We design and promote handmade accessories including, earrings, bracelets and neckpieces. Our jewellery style is contemporary but with an ethnic feel,” explained Maluleke.

Art seems to have always flown through her veins from a young age, as she has always found ways of expressing herself creatively through different art platforms.

“I have always had a creative streak, if I was not crochetting, I was painting and if not painting, I was capturing and creating images through the camera lens, if not that I was writing or reciting poetry,” Maluleke added.

Her jewellery studio is based in the Nkowankowa Industrial area, where she also works with two part-time producers who are available when needed.

“My message to other women is; find your passion and outlet of self expression and use that to inspire and empower others,” she also added.
