The Club, founded in 2016 under the leadership of Maboke Letswoalo hosted its event at Letaba River Lodge with club members accompanied by their wives.
The aim was to create a spirit of unity and togetherness in celebrating the growth and selection of the newly elected committee.
The wives of the men’s club members also supported their spouses with their presence.
The club presented its awards to those who had served and contributed to its growth in the three years of its existence.
With various members of the club expressing gratitude towards the founders and the leaders of the Club. Letsoalo Maboke, the president of the club, highlighted that the group was built on persistence, patience and loyalty.
The event was wrapped-up in style as the couples went for a game drive.

Tintswalo Shipalana, a journalist for the Letaba Herald, has been in the media industry for over a decade. She started her journey in radio, but ended up in print which is her first love. She joined the Herald newspaper as a cadet in 2016, where she graduated with a journalism qualification from the Caxton Training Academy. She also has a qualification in Feature Writing from the University of Cape Town and a Media Management qualification from Wits University. She is completing her BA Communication Science degree with UNISA. She sleeps well at night knowing she is a voice to the voiceless and her work contributes to promoting local talent, businesses and service delivery. Her love for her community keeps her working hard every day.
