TZANEEN: Community shocked by brutal murder on Easter Sunday

What was supposed to be a relaxed Easter Sunday turned out to be a tragic discovery of a lifeless body in a village around Tzaneen.

It is alleged that the deceased, who was identified by the Bolobedu SAPS as Tumi Maake (21), was found dead and lying naked in the Molototsi River.

Villagers were left shocked at the discovery of the lifeless body as they were making their way back to their homes after visiting their cemeteries to pay their respects.

It is alleged that the deceased was DJaying at a local tavern in Motsinoni Village where he was approached and assaulted by the person believed to be the suspect behind his death.
