Take Note: Water supply interruptions for residents

Residents are urged to use water sparingly - no water on Thursday!

Planned water supply interruptions in the Greater Giyani Municipal area are on the cards.

Witness Tiva, spokesperson for the Greater Letaba Municipality (GLM) urged residents of Giyani and surrounding villages to store enough water for household purposes as there will be water supply intreruputions tomorrow (Thursday) May 2.

“The Lepelle Northern Water will be doing maintanace work at the Giyani Water Treatment Works. Residents who might still be having water in their households are urged to use water sparingly to minimise water shortages,” Tiva said.

Water supply is only expected to be restored late Thursday evening, according to Tiva.

“The Mopani District Municipality and Lepelle Northern Water apologise for the inconvenience,” Tiva said.
