The LETABA HERALD made contact with Greater Letaba Municipality spokesperson, Neville Ndlala, who said he would deploy a team to the areas to ensure that the boxes are closed and the areas made safe for people using the routes.

The matter was attended to swiftly and one of the boxes in question was closed and sent to the HERALD as evidence of it.

Ndlala also stated that other power boxes will be checked and dealt with too.

The time frame for this was not given as he stated that the closure of all power boxes will be attended to whenever a team is available to do so.
