Tzaneen: Stolen vehicle recovered

The tracking team of the South African Police Service in Tzaneen, assisted by a local security company recovered a suspected stolen motor vehicle around Nkowankowa.

This after information from Air Tracker today, Wednesday 6 November.

“The Tracking Team together with the Security officers, quickly responded to the location and upon arrival, they found the motor vehicle parked in a fenced yard,” Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said.

According to Motlafela the police continued with their investigations inside the house and during the process, the suspect jumped through the window in an attempt to evade the arrest.

“He ended up with a broken knee. He was immediately arrested and taken to hospital under Police guard. A case of possession of suspected stolen property was opened at Ritavi Police Station for further investigations,” he said.

The suspect (39) is expected to appear before the Ritavi Magistrate’s Court soon.
