The hand-over ceremony took place on Saturday, November 27 at the school. Earlier on Saturday morning, cyclists in support of the initiative cycled 38 km to the school.
They had initially planned to cycle over 80km, but because of the rain they had to change their route and distance. The cyclists were Ntwanano Ngobeni, Nyiko Masango, Paul Darazs, Ntwanano Mushwana, Simon Shabangu, Vukosi Tshuketana and Karabo Swartz. Shabangu, who lost both his legs from different car accidents, also endured the wet weather and cycled in support of the event.
