Greater Tzaneen Association relaunches in style

Limpopo’s tourism fraternity gathered at the Tzaneen Country Lodge to celebrate the relaunch of the Greater Tzaneen Tourism Association (GTTA) on Saturday, July 9.

According to Adri Kruger, chairperson of GGTA, the event was held to celebrate the tourism industry after it was hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event also celebrated women in tourism. They also launched the rebranding of the GTTA which was established years ago but diluted along the way.

The new ‘Go2Tzaneen’ initiative, which aims to encourage tourists to visit Tzaneen, was unveiled.
A website, www.go2Tzaneen.co.za, will further showcase activities and accommodation facilities found in the region.
Nomasonto Ndlovu, chief operations officer at South African Tourism, said in a keynote message that the association is a game changer and a catalyst for the Tzaneen tourism industry.
