Police in Limpopo appoints new head of media relations

Police in Limpopo has appointed a new provincial commander of media relations.

Lt Col Malesela Jonathan Ledwaba was conferred with the new rank of colonel on Monday, November 7. He was one of thirteen new colonels appointed in various fields of the police in the province. Ledwaba has extensive experience in media liaison which spans 26 years, including area head of communication and liaison services in the Waterberg area.

He also worked at community service centres, human resource management as well as visible policing. His career started in Namakgale, he then served in Namakgale, after which he was transferred to Lebowakgomo. He also served in Seshego before joining the then-district head office, in the communications and liaison services department. He also obtained a degree in Police Management from Unisa.
