Road closed due to accident at Magoebaskloof

The R71 on Magoebaskloof before Mountain Lodge is temporarily closed due to an accident in the early hours of today.

A low-bed truck with a 30-ton machine has fallen over in Magoebaskloof.

Magoebaskloof pass will be closed possibly for the whole day.

Motorists are warned to drive with caution as the road is misty at the moment.

It is reported that there is a big diesel spill on the road, and the road is slippery.
