Tzaneen priest shot in cold blood, dies in hospital

The man was praying with a couple when another person in church opened fire.

A priest that was shot in cold blood in church this morning, succumbed to his injuries hours later.

According to statements made to the police at the scene of the crime, the priest was seated next to a couple when a man next to them opened fire.

It is unclear at this point if the couple had been injured, but he was rushed to hospital for treatment.

According to an eyewitness, the shooter fled the scene covering his face.

Police confirmed the victim’s death.
