Residents near Aqua Spar Centre are warned to exercise caution after a hippo was spotted in the area late last night.

TZANEEN – Late last night, a motorist spotted a hippopotamus near the newly opened Aqua Spar Centre. While en route home, he captured a video of the hippo to alert the public regarding the unusual visitor.

As the current whereabouts of the hippo remain unknown, residents are advised to exercise caution while driving or walking in the vicinity and to ensure that all doors or gates are closed or locked for their safety.
