The team included the Speaker, Oliver Mabunda, and the Chief Whip, Didodo Rapatsa.

Makhubele sustained injuries to her leg and hand, one child had minor head scratches, and the other was frightened but unharmed.
Emergency services were contacted immediately, and the injured were swiftly taken to Maphutha Malatji Hospital for treatment.
They were discharged the following day.
The municipal team provided the affected community members with mattresses, sponges, blankets, and food parcels through the disaster management and the Office of the Mayor, in collaboration with Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development MEC Nakedi Kekana.
Additionally, a two-roomed house and a toilet are being constructed for the Makhubele family by the office of the mayor.
Makhubele expressed her gratitude to the municipal team for their assistance, stating, “I would like to thank the Ba-Phalaborwa Municipal team for assisting me and my children. I do not know where I would have been if it was not for their great help. I wish they keep on doing this for everyone who needs help. I truly appreciate their efforts, and may the good Lord continue to bless them.”
Currently, Makhubele is living with her grandmother while her leg heals, and her house is completed.
