Kingfisher matrics shine

Kingfisher Private School achieves 100% pass rate in IEB National Senior Certificate, with top learners earning multiple A’s and B’s across subjects.

LIMPOPO – Kingfisher Private School had 24 candidates who wrote the Independent Examination Board (IEB) National Senior Certificate last year. The school obtained a 100% pass rate.

Of the 24 candidates, 21 obtained bachelor passes, two diploma passes and one a higher certificate pass.

They achieved 17 A symbols, 50 B symbols, 45 C symbols and 35 E symbols.

Many A’s were just missed, with several learners achieving 78% and 79% for numerous subjects. The bulk of marks are in the 70 to 79% bracket (Bs).

The A symbols were also achieved across all the subjects, which shows a sound spread of marks in all our subjects.

The highest number of distinctions per subject (A symbols – 80 to 89%) were achieved for mathematical literacy (4).

The top learners were Kitso Nkabiti with five A’s and two B’s (both 79%). Kelebogile Mosweu obtained three A’s and five B’s. Kelebogile had taken eight subjects in matric, with three of her B symbols being 77% and above.

Tlotlo Mokoena obtained three A’s and five B’s, two of his B symbols were 78% and 79%.
