Hoedspruit High welcomes its new leader corps

The newly elected leaders have been chosen to represent their peers, to inspire, guide and lead with kindness and integrity.

HOEDSPRUIT – Hoedspruit High School has announced its 2025/2026 student leadership team, honouring a group of young individuals who have demonstrated courage, responsibility and a heart for service.

The newly elected leaders have been chosen not only to represent their peers, but also to inspire, guide and lead with kindness and integrity throughout the year ahead.

“Leadership is not about titles, it is about influence, empathy and making a difference,” said Deidre Gamble of Hoedspruit High. “We believe each of you has been called to this role for a reason, and we look forward to the positive impact you will have on our school community.”

The appointment of student leaders is a long-standing tradition at Hoedspruit High, aimed at fostering accountability and preparing learners for leadership roles beyond the classroom.

The school community extended its heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected leaders, encouraging them to embrace the responsibility with confidence and humility.

“Your journey begins now, and we stand behind you every step of the way,” Gamble said.
