Help Thalitha raise money for pageant

Bolobedu’s 11-year-old Thalitha Mafokwane, a rising pageant star and community volunteer, is a Miss Limpopo Pre-Teen finalist seeking local support.

LIMPOPO – Thalitha Mafokwane, an 11-year-old from Mothomeng village in Bolobedu South, has been selected as a finalist for Miss Limpopo Province Pre-Teen.

Passionate about uplifting her community, Thalitha has already taken part in several charity initiatives.

The Gr 3 learner at Happy Faces began her modelling journey in March last year when she entered her first pageant, Miss Little Easter Bolobedu 2024, which she won.

Since then, she has secured several prestigious titles, including Miss Capricorn Junior 2025, Miss Capricorn Beauty with a Purpose 2025, and Miss Elegant Tzaneen 2025, among others.

Thalitha says she draws inspiration from Tzaneen-born Miss South Africa, Ndavi Nokeri, and hopes to follow in her footsteps by bringing the crown back to Tzaneen.

As part of her Miss Limpopo journey, Thalitha is required to raise a R2 200 sponsorship fee and pay for R500 worth of care packs, each valued at R100. She says she is feeling confident as she prepares for the grand finale, which will take place at Bolivia Lodge on November 29.

The young beauty queen is appealing to community members and local businesses for support to raise the necessary money.
