Limpopo man in court for robbery and kidnapping
House robbery and kidnapping suspect appears in Nkowankowa court after police linked him to, and recovered, stolen property.

LIMPOPO – A 37-year-old man has been arrested for a house robbery and kidnapping that took place in JB Village, Sasekani, last week.
The suspect, identified as Davis Khosa, appeared in the Nkowankowa Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday (January 6) on charges of house robbery and kidnapping. The case was postponed to Thursday, January 15, for a potential bail application.

According to police, the victim was asleep at his home on December 31 when suspects broke in, stole his belongings and kidnapped him.
Members of the Provincial Murder and Robbery Unit and the Mopani Tracking Team were assigned to the case.
Through a coordinated operation, police identified the suspects and tracked them to their homes.
Khosa was arrested and led police to the recovery of the stolen property, which included a music system and a plasma television. The items were found in Dan Village and Nwamitwa Village and were positively identified by the complainant.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba confirmed that the recovered exhibits have been processed as part of the ongoing investigation. The search for the remaining suspects continues.
