100% pass rate for Lowveld Academy

Academically, the school recorded a strong overall performance, with 68.6% of learners achieving Bachelor's passes and 31.3% attaining diploma passes.

HOEDSPRUIT – Lowveld Academy Hoedspruit is celebrating an outstanding academic milestone after achieving a 100% pass rate in the 2025 matric exams.

The achievement reflects the resilience and commitment of the Class of 2025, the dedication of the school’s teachers, and the unwavering support of parents and the broader Hoedspruit community.

Academically, the school recorded a strong overall performance, with 68.6% of learners achieving Bachelor’s passes and 31.3% attaining diploma passes. The class produced an impressive total of 57 distinctions, underscoring the high standard of teaching and learning at the institution.

Top honours went to Nsovo Tivane, the school’s top achiever, who obtained an exceptional 86.0% average with six distinctions. She was followed closely by Emily du Toit, who achieved an 84.9% average with six distinctions, and Lwethu Mhlongo, who secured an 81.4% average and four distinctions.

Lowveld Academy and its management team also extended congratulations to their sister school, Hoedspruit High School, on achieving a near 100% pass rate. “Together, we are strengthening the Hoedspruit community through education,” Reinhold Deacon of Lowveld Academy said.

Special appreciation was expressed to parents and community members for their continued support throughout what proved to be a challenging academic year.
