Three suspects sought after man dies in Tzaneen CBD

Police in Tzaneen are investigating a fatal incident in the CBD and urge anyone with information to come forward.

TZANEEN – Tzaneen police in the Mopani District are appealing to the public for information after a man was fatally injured in the Tzaneen CBD in the early hours of Saturday, March 28.

At around 02:00, police patrols discovered the injured man near Mr Build Hardware and immediately called emergency medical services, who transported him to a nearby hospital.

Despite medical intervention, he died at approximately 10:00.

Three male suspects were seen fleeing the scene into nearby bushes.

Their identities and the motive for the attack remain unknown.

Community urged to report and information

Police are urging anyone with information that could help identify the deceased or assist in locating the suspects to come forward.

Members of the public can contact investigating officer, Const Mohlaho Letsoalo on 071 874 8661, call the crime stop number 0860 010 111, visit the nearest police station, or submit a tip via the MySAPSApp.

Investigations are ongoing.
