Zone to Zone Half Marathon coming back

The second edition of the marathon promises to be bigger and better than last year's.

Nkowankowa Athletics will once again host the annual Zone to Zone Half Marathon at the Nkowankowa Stadium on Saturday, November 30.

The event has three route options 21 km, 10km and 5km fun run.

Last year’s race saw different marathon lovers from different clubs from all over Limpopo.

It will still remain to be seen if Phuti Sethowa, 2018 men’s 21km winner will defend his title or a better runner will disappoint the local champ.

“We would like to thank all the people who supported our first race last year and we are still inviting all club members and nonclub members to also be part of the event,” Conride Shikwambana, Founder of Zone to Zone Marathon stated.

The 21km race will start from Lestitele and end at the stadium, meanwhile the other two will start and finish at the stadium.

Entry fee is R120 for 21km, R80 for 10km and R50 for fun run.Temporary licenses will be available at an additional R30 for 21km and 10km races only.

There will be different prizes to be won and the first 200 entrants of the 21km race will be given a free goodie bag.
