Relela Village celebrates ‘Wedding of the year’

Self made tycoon, Ngate "Governor" Maake married his childhood sweetheart, Swabisa Julia Mmola in what has been called the "Wedding of the year" at Relela on Saturday.

Friends, family and well wishers gathered at the palatial residence of the Maake’s for the lavish wedding ceremony which featured transport by helicopter and luxury German sedans.

Everything was luxurious, tasteful and beautiful, not least the bride and groom, who seemed equally radiant.

bridesmaids and the groomsmen wore designer suits and later changed to traditional attire.

After the formal proceedings, merrymakers were treated to a feast and beer, ciders, expensive wine and whisky flowed until late into the night.
