First of its kind Modjadji Show set to rock Ga-Kgapane

Local organisers are setting out the stage to bring a social atmosphere around Tzaneen.

Tshepo Machipi and Nthabiseng Selematsela are bringing what they describe to be “the first of its kind” Modjadji Show.

The show will be a four day event that will start on Wednesday, June 12 until Saturday, June 15 which sets out to improve the social atmosphere and engagement of people around Mopani.

Tshepo Machipi, one of the organisers of the upcoming Modjadji Show.

Machipi told the Herald that the concept behind the show started last year in August and they knew they would need all the time for planning and finding a suitable venue for the event.

“The whole idea of the show is to boost local small businesses and showcase local talent, along with the arts around the Mopani area. We’re also hoping to create an environment for families to have fun and for the kids to just enjoy themselves with all that we have to offer,” stated Machipi.

The event will be hosted at the Ga-Kgapane stadium and it will include stalls for food and beverages, arts and craft along with clothing, kiddies entertainment such as jumping castles, swings and many more.

There will also be an exhibition of cars and live concerts by local artists and DJs.

On the last day of the show, there will be a soccer and golf tournament.

The organisers are hoping to start something that will quickly turn into a culture and give people an adventure to always look forward to.
