‘Slow down, frogs crossing’
A local primary school is attempting to reduce the number of African bullfrogs killed by cars.
Middelburg Primary School have erected a “Slow down, Frogs Crossing” sign in Mandela Drive, urging motorists to avoid killing African bullfrogs.
The Eco Monitors said that it was with great concern that they noticed the large number of frogs that were killed after the rains on the evening of Friday, 21 October.

They approached the Traffic Department who willingly assisted in the erection of the signs.
