Pupil refused exam because of beard
A Grade 11 learner at Steelcrest High School, was refused at his exam location because he was unshaven.
A furious Sarah Radebe said that her son was being targeted. She drove to www.mobserver.co.za after she was phoned to come and pick up her son from school.
Senzo (17) was asked to leave the school grounds when he arrived to write his Afrikaans and English exams.

Mrs Radebe said that other children looked far worse when it came to their hair and beards. Her son claims that he has been targeted by a certain teacher since his return from initiation school, which saw him being absent for a prolonged period.
The school did not want to comment on the matter.
