Make sure you fill up! Massive fuel price increase tonight

Consumers must brace themselves for a massive fuel price increase, effective from midnight tonight.

The Department of Energy said that petrol will increase with 71 cents per liter and diesel with between 60 and 57 cents per liter.

The increase is effective from Wednesday 6 December.

The rise in oil prices and a weak Rand were given as the main reason for the steep increase.
