VIDEO: Alleged drunken drivers arrested after two separate accidents

The Steve Tshwete Traffic officials had their hands full after two accidents recently were allegedly caused by drunken drivers. 

• The driver of a Mercedes Benz was chased through Middelburg after he was involved in an accident in Walter Sisulu Street and drove off.

He was eventually apprehended in Protea Street after he crashed into another vehicle. The man faces a string of charges where under driving under the influence.

• A bus driver was arrested on an accident scene in Samora Machel Street. Eyewitnesses say that the bus was swerving over two lanes. The bus crashed into another vehicle after it ignored a red traffic light.

The driver was arrested after he refused to undergo a breathalyzer test.
