Three people were injured during a cash in transit heist, 10 km outside of Hendrina on the Ermelo Road on Monday.
Two innocent bystanders were hit and rushed to hospital after a gang of robbers shot at a G4S cash van. A security guard was also shot through the leg.
Robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
An eyewitness captured the scene on video.
