“It’s safe to say the investigation team, assigned by the Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi, is on the ground following some information which we cannot currently share with the public as it can jeopardise the investigation, however one of the commanders indicated that he’ll share information with regard to any progress. I’ll then update the media accordingly,” Mdhluli said.
He mentioned that a special task team has been established on the case.
- The car was found with no number plates, with police finding two Gauteng registration plates in a suitcase inside the vehicle.
