THE PIANO MAN: Rocco de Villiers is set to thrill audiences with his instrumental show at Pieter Toerien's studio theatre at Montecasino.

Music maestro Rocco de Villiers will return to Montecasino to pay tribute to the most popular instrument of all time – the piano. The show is a celebration of the most beautiful melodies, some sentimental, others nostaligic, modern, old-fashioned, quirky, funny, heavy, tragic and sad. De Villiers will share the very intimate studio theatre with actress, Lauren Botha. His latest album The Beautiful Collection will provide most of the music for the show.

De Villiers’ CDs, DVDs and sheet music for piano will be on sale at the shows. The shows are all 90 minutes long and do not have an interval. The performances are mostly in English with a little Afrikaans.

Date: 18 March to 12 April

Venue: Pieter Toerien’s studio theatre in Montecasino

Time: Performance times are Wednesday to Friday at 8:15pm, Saturday at 5.15pm and 8.15pm and Sunday at 3.15pm.
