Ultra City gives away 5 BMWs

MIDRAND – Ultra City gave away five brand-new BMWs to five of their lucky customers.

 

Ultra City Jacaranda Shell garage in Midrand held a five-car giveaway as part of their Five BMWs in Five Weeks campaign.

Following the end of the campaign, five lucky winners were handed their keys to their new BMWs on 29 March.

Shell South Africa’s head of marketing, Yaasier Abrahams said the objective of having a handout ceremony was to create awareness of the competition and prove that every day customers actually do win the competition.

“The competition has been running for three years and Ultra City is still planning on running it for the fourth year and so on together with BMW.

To enter the competition, customers had to purchase anything at any Shell service station, follow the prompts and keep their till receipts for verification purposes.

The promotion ran from 12 December last year to 14 January. Over 408 000 entries were received and site activations were held nationwide.

The winners had entered at the following stations:

  • Ultra City Kei Bridge
  • Derby Motors
  • Dhlamini Service Station
  • Ultra City Jacaranda (two winners)

Shell South Africa chairman, Hloniphiwe Mtolo said the competition is aimed at thanking their customers for their support and by changing their lives with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

All the way from the Eastern Cape, Babalwa Socishe won a BMW thanks to Ultra City.
