Football pays off for animals in need

KAYALAMI - Kyalami Knight Riders Football Club handed over R1 328 to Animals In Distress.

The club’s Peter Grgin said the finds were collected through a raffle at a match against Dainfern Football Club.

Grgin thanked Mia, Isabella and Adam Duffy for selling sweets and refreshments at the Kyalami Knight Riders Football Club’s training sessions and matches to contribute to the fundraiser.

“The Club looks forward to similar activities to raise money for this and other worthy causes, in the future,” said Grgin.

The club is based in Kyalami Estates and caters for children aged three to 11.
