Jacaranda FM Gives ”Kili’ Horns

MIDRAND - Jacaranda FM hosted an event to commemorate the culmination of a major feat of human endurance in aid of saving our rhinos.

What started as an ambitious idea on the Martin Bester Drive show lead on to large corporate sponsorships as well as empathetic listeners donating money in aid of ‘Stop Rhino Poaching”.

The Martin Bester Drive team nominated their stuntman, Álex ‘Árod”McMaster to summit Mount Kilamanjaro to give ‘Kili’ horns.

26 July saw the return of Arod and the handover of the funds raised during the campaign to ‘Stop Rhino Poaching’.

Martin Bester broadcasted live from the event where corporate sponsors mingled and celebrated the return of Arod.

The guests were entertained by Prime Circle and a surprise visit from the Blue Bull’s babes.

The event concluded with the handover of a R 1 600 203.40 cheque to Stop Rhino Poaching.
