Midrand SPCA faces closure
MIDRAND - The Midrand SPCA could face closure in two months if they do not receive donations from the public soon.

Manager of the SPCA, Elsje Naicker said, “Over the last year the organisation has had to buy R 200 000 worth of pet food where they would previously have relied on donations from the public. This has eaten into our operational costs and we are estimating that we have two months left before we would have to close.”
Naicker added that no donation was too small and any contribution was welcome.
“We are also aiming to get 2000 people to commit to a debit payment of just R 50 a month as this would provide a much needed reliable fund from which the many needy animals of Midrand would benefit,”she said.
