Summerhill Prep declared drug-free zone
MIDRAND - On 31 July, Colonel Stephen Moodley, Station Commander of the Midrand Police Station, officially recognised Summerhill Preparatory School as a drug-free zone.

Along with Billy Rudlin, chairperson of the Community Policing Forum, Moodley addressed the students, encouraging them to learn more about the real harm that drugs do, so that they could make informed decisions.
Moodley said, “I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to the educators and learners of Summerhill School for their commitment and dedication in fighting the scourge of drugs within our community. We appeal to our community to supply any information regarding the possession of, and dealing in, drugs.”
