Help Kitty and Puppy Haven
PRESIDENT PARK - Kitty and Puppy Haven has many kittens, cats, puppies and dogs that are in desperate need of permanent homes.
The President Park animal sanctuary opened its doors in Midrand last year at 37 Modderfontein Road, which along with the housing for the kittens and puppies, it also boasts a Hush Puppies sponsored clinic.
Kitty and Puppy Haven is also looking for more volunteers to assist the sanctuary, especially on Saturday mornings, which is the busiest time for the centre. Extra people are needed to help visitors to adopt the pets, walk or bathe the dogs, and play with the animals. Volunteers must be able to commit at least one Saturday a month.
During the week, help is also needed to give the animals some love and to help with admin in the office.
Training will be organised for those who wish to volunteer.
For those looking for a kitten or puppy to adopt, the sanctuary has many animals of different ages and breeds to choose from.
