Woman (22) arrested for baby murder
Midrand - A woman (22) was arrested on 27 January for attempted murder and murder.
Midrand police spokesperson Matome Tlamela said, “The suspect was arrested for killing her one-year-old baby and for attempting to murder her husband and her six-year-old daughter.”
According to Tlamela, the suspect allegedly had a domestic dispute with her husband and later he wanted to be intimate with her. “She took a knife and chased after him. The husband managed to get away, but the baby died at the scene. The six-year-old girl is fighting for her life at Tembisa Hospital.”
Tlamela added the suspect will appear in court soon on charges of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
